Ingredients
  • 400g pork shoulder
  • Marinade
  • 1 tablespoon light soy
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon five spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
Instructions
  1. Combine the marinade ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then set aside to cool.
  2. Cut the pork shoulder into 4cm wide strips
  3. Rub the marinade into the pork, then place in the fridge to marinate for 60 minutes.
  4. Line one air fryer drawer with baking paper then add the marinated pork.
  5. Select the (MEAT) function and adjust the cooking time to 15 minutes. Press (START/STOP) to start the function.
  6. Every four minutes, pull out the drawer and baste the pork with the remaining glaze. Rotate the pork halfway through cooking.The appliance will pause when the drawer is pulled out and will resume the function once the drawer is inserted back into the appliance.
  7. After 15 minutes, remove the pork from the air fryer drawer and let rest for five minutes before slicing. Pair this recipe with the 'Miso Maple Brussels Sprouts' cooking in the other drawer for a complete meal or serve with steamed rice and Chinese broccoli. Enjoy!
