5-minute Salsa

    (Makes approx. 1L)
  • 810 grams can of whole tomatoes
  • 8 ripe cherry tomatoes
  • 125 grams fresh coriander (or more to taste)
  • 60 grams red onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 jarred Jalapeno (or more to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoons salt
  • Juice of a lime
  1. Pour the can of tomatoes into the glass jug, then layer on top coriander, cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, jalapeno, sugar, salt and lime juice.

  2. Press the pulse function to consistency desired is reached.

  3. Switch appliance off at the wall.

  4. Taste with a corn chip and adjust seasoning if needed and give a quick pulse to mix. 

  5. Refrigerate for an hour before serving.

  6. Store in fridge.
